My name is Jonas Grätzer.
I’m a jazz drummer, producer composer, bandleader, and drum coach based in Hamburg.
My playing combines powerful grooves, sonic sensitivity, and an open, improvisational approach. Inspired by modern jazz, contemporary improvisation, and electroacoustic music, I am developing a distinctive musical language of my own.
With my music, I create a sound that moves between energetic playfulness and introspective depth—shaped by interaction, contrast, and sonic openness.
In addition to my artistic work, I teach as a drum coach with a focus on individual musical development and creative independence.
